Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy (TPLO) Fixed Price

All prices include VAT. N.B.: Extra-large dogs (Over 50kg) may also incur an additional fee to cover the hire of specialist surgical equipment.
Our fixed price TPLO packages include:
- Initial consultation with the orthopaedic surgeon
- Templating and post operative radiographs
- Induction, maintenance general anaesthetic and limb nerve block if indicated
- TPLO surgery, and associated implants
- All prescribed medication during a maximum 3-day hospitalisation
- Oral discharge medication and collars/slings if needed
- Follow up 6-week check consultation and x-rays if needed.
Additional fees will apply for:
- Preoperative blood tests
- Charges related to other health issues
Complications including but not limited to:
- Anaesthetic complications and reactions
- Implant complications and revision surgeries
- Post operative complications such as surgical site infections
- Hospital stays more than 3 days
- Initial 1-2 week postoperative re-checks and successive consultations
- Any x-rays other than those included in the 6/8-week re-check
- Physiotherapy consultations and treatment.
Postoperative complications are unusual but can occur, any costs incurred relating to unexpected postoperative complications are not included in the fixed price.
